Main delivery form of flat Stainless steels is coil up to 16 mm thickness. Mills, rolls coils from billets and deliver the materials by mother coils where weights are from 14 to 24 tons upon the width of materials.
Service centers divide those mother coils into smaller tonnages as 4-8 tons. Coils can be slitted also to narrow coisls by service centers to be used for press-feed.
